Weekend Dog Fun!!

This weekend we went to the Highland Park park we love taking the dogs to a couple of times. The first time we went was on Saturday and we took Rocky, Griffen, Beaxie and Kiki. Oh! And Eli. It was so much fun watching them play. Kiki (Pit/Boxer X), Rocky (German Shep) and Griffen (Boxer) go crazy together. They run around, chase each other, box, knock each other over, play fight over sticks, and come back to check in with us every few minutes. Beaxie (5mon old Boston Ter.) tried his very best to keep up! It was so cute to see him running with all his might just to catch up to the big guys. And even when running with all his might he could never catch up until a good 15 seconds after the pack stopped to play! And then there is Eli... He walks and the dogs follow. He grabs sticks to play fetch, and the dogs love him for it. He is only 2 years old. Imagine what fun the dogs will have with him when he is older??!! Sunday, the pack consisted of Rocky, Griffen, Beaxie, and my niece and nephew, Maya and Johnny. Maya and Johnny are 10 and 12 years old and they personally take pride in getting to know each and EVERY dog that comes through the Wigglewag doors. Going to the park with the Wigglewag pack is always a bonus and they enjoyed every minute of it! It was awesome to watch them run around with the pack, just like another furry 4 legged canine would! And the dogs just love that extra energy. It is amazing how much joy animals can bring if only you allow yourself to stop and enjoy them!

Remember! For all your dog walking, pet sitting and behavioral training needs in the Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, Arcadia, Monrovia, San Gabriel, San Marino, La Canada and the rest of the San Gabriel Valley area, Wigglewag is your number one choice!! Personal and professional, you and your animals will love us!

Have a wonderful day everyone!!

The Dogs & Eli

Chill day here for Wigglewag. I just finish round one of my walks with Kiki and Rocky (and Eli!). As soon as I got back Nes left to the Rosebowl for round one with Stella and Vegas. I love tired dogs. After all a tired dog is a good dog! Wish that was true for kids!!! No but it truly is a joy to have so much love around me on a daily basis. You know I have my favorite dogs, and the dogs have their favorite person (Nes or I), but regardless of who prefers who dogs show us nothing but love 24 7! Then I get to be at home with my little guy who thinks I'm Gods greatest gift to mankind, and the love of my life! How lucky am I! Just yesterday we had  5 or 6 dogs all laid out in the living room. Eli was trying to walk over to dad but had several obstacles in his way. He took his time to very slowly walk through the pack making sure he missed all feet, tails and ears. It was really cute! And the dogs didn't even respond to his passing by. It is awesome to see the respect he has for the dogs. And at the same time the dogs have respect for him. Because he has been around dogs since he was born his energy is a one with the dogs. He doesn't get excited. He doesn't get scared. He is just at one with them. And they LOVE him just as much as he loves them! It is such a cool thing to see and I am excited to see what the future holds. One thing is for sure, Eli will be a great asset to Wigglewag in years to come!!

Today's dog training tip-
Be patient. Each dog is unique, and can only learn at his own pace. Some dogs learn quickly; others
take more time. Patience is indeed a virtue when it comes to effective dog training!

Wigglewag Weekend

Great weekend here at Wigglewag! Eli's second bday party was yesterday and we had 3 extra 4 legged friends to celebrate with us, Bonita, Rocky and beautiful Lucy! The kids all loved the dogs and the adults were in awe about how well behaved the dogs were. Most people don't realize how wonderful a pack of dogs can be with the proper exercise and training. It was kind of fun showing off our dogs! And our skills!

This morning I took Kiki to the blessing of the animals at my niece and nephews school. It was a great experience. But I probably liked it more then her! She was getting a little impatient. She wanted to play but couldn't.

Now I'm just waiting for Lucy to get picked up and young Stella to get dropped off. Nes is at a BBQ, getting some guy time in! I'm next! Fun times!

I love my life! Okay got to go but remember, Wigglewag is here for all your dog walking, dog training and pet sitting needs!!!

Take care til next time!
